Your Privacy Choices

Control how your data is used within the Control Suite iOS app. Your privacy matters to us.

Control Suite collects only the minimum data needed to operate the app — a device identifier, a push notification token (if you opt in), and a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not collect analytics, usage data, or advertising identifiers.

Below are the choices available to you. For full details on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

Push notifications

We use Apple Push Notification service to send you order alerts and incoming call notifications. You can disable this at any time.

How to opt out: Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → Control Suite and toggle notifications off. We will no longer send push notifications to your device and your device token will be removed from our system.

Location access

Location is only used when required by the payment processor (Zettle) for card transaction compliance. It is not used for tracking or analytics.

How to opt out: Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Control Suite and select Never. Note: this may affect card payment functionality.

Camera & microphone

The camera is used for barcode scanning and video calls. The microphone is used for phone calls via the built-in VoIP system. Neither is accessed in the background.

How to opt out: Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera (or Microphone) and toggle Control Suite off. These features will be disabled within the app.

Bluetooth & local network

Used solely for connecting to and discovering Zettle card readers. No data is transmitted to third parties via these connections.

How to opt out: Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth (or Local Network) and toggle Control Suite off. Card reader connectivity will be disabled.

Request data deletion

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data we hold about you, including your device identifier, push notification token, and session data.

How to request: Contact us with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with UK GDPR.
